-A collection of charming stories about breastfeeding: More Than Milk

-An anthology of fun rhymes about superheroes and food: Superheroes Get Hungry, Too

I set some plans into motion in February that met with reality as that month wound down. The result was a bit of a bashing and bruising. All is well, and I am still moving forward with finishing my manuscript for the breastfeeding book More Than Milk, but I am going to move a little more slowly on it. There are so many things I want to do, but I am learning that I need to slow down and focus on one project at a time. I know that, but I am having a hard time doing it.

For the next couple weeks, finishing the manuscript for More Than Milk is officially on hold. In the mean time, I have been enjoying watching and reviewing the Ultraman anime on Netflix. I should be done with it by mid-April, but for now it is taking up a lot of my time.

I have been doing some work to prepare for a Spider-Man comic book review channel as well. As I said before, there is a lot that I want to do. My mind and attention are split and I am trying to remedy that. The truth is that as interested in writing as I am, I have been drawn to comics for some time. I want to write and publish comic books as well as children’s books, YA novels and more. The trouble is that I have had a hard time finishing projects I start. In fact, I had finished the breastfeeding book and then decided to rework it and change the focus of it, so I had to start it all over again. Because my focus is on action, adventure and comics, I want to build an audience of people who enjoy the way I think and talk about comics because, they will likely enjoy my work in that arena.

My intention is to finish as quickly as possible:Going Ultra season 2 (9 more episodes remain)King of Hearts Queen of Sorrows (about 25 episodes remain)
Once those are done, I will resist picking up any more weekly reviews and instead focus on finishing More Than Milk and then finding an illustrator for it. In the meantime, I can continue journaling and working on projects for publishing in the background. The intention is to build a successful (if varied) brand of publishing that has consistent output.
