These are the books I have completed for Fortress Fiction so far.
What is Fortress Fiction? It is my platform for reading and judging middle-grade books, both classic and modern to see which are the best books. What does that mean, how do I define the best books? The best books, those worthy of a place of honor in the Fortress Fiction are the books that are well written, engaging, entertaining and will have a powerful impression on readers that inspires them to be better people.
I have alternated Modern, Classic, Modern and so on as I read through a list of books. Modern is roughly 1960s and on, Classic is anything before that. Below is the list of the first 14 books I have read and completed for this project.
