WRITING
I am now working on a middle-grade book for Raconteur Press open call coming November 1, 2024! It’s based off an existing idea I had for a much shorter middle-grade book, but they are looking for a word count in the 40,000-50,00 range, so I am going back to formula.
Hit a little snag on this, but I am getting back up to speed. am very excited for this project.
READING
I am finished Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli.
I finished listening to Jeffrey H Haskell’s Grimm’s War Book 2. I liked it a lot.
I started listening to Book 2 of Trapped in a Videogame by Dustin Brady. It might be more fun than book 1 and it is hinting at a larger world and lore and that’s neat.
