WRITING
I am now working on a middle-grade book for Raconteur Press open call coming November 1, 2024! It’s based off an existing idea I had for a much shorter middle-grade book, but they are looking for a word count in the 40,000-50,00 range, so I am going back to formula.
I wrote a LITTLE more, but not, too much. May this week go better!
READING
I finished listening to Book 3-5 of Trapped in a Videogame by Dustin Brady. That’s the whole series. I liked it a lot. It was kind of a relief to be done with it by the end as it got a little heavy, but I think it was appropriate and it was a very well done series overall. Maybe listening to it so quickly made it go down a little harder than intended? It was good research though, as well as a good story in its own right.
