What’s the Latest with Fortress Fiction?

Fortress Fiction will return with a Maniac Magee book chat soon. My schedule is very full at the moment, but I am committed to discussing Maniac Magee. I have important things to say about it. I have selected the next book to read after it and I am excited to get into it. I have seen a film adaptation, but I have never read the book before. It is a treasured girl book, so I think it will be good. I listened to part of the first chapter and it was neat. I love when children are wonderful people in books, but I also love when they are beastly and the narrator is happy to point that out. If those clues help you divine the title of the book, you have my kudos.
