Helene Legrand has lived a full life. She has more than the usual aches and pains for a woman her age. She also has the kinds of scars few do. Her life of adventure and excitement began long before she was ready. She can now look back on the first while with something approaching nostalgia thanks to the decades softening her memories of that time and place.
Helene recently met a boy who needed help with some toughs. Luckily for both of them, she couldn’t help but slip into being Magma Girl again. Helping him got her thinking about those days and how she could make a difference again. Now Helene is offering guidance and support to this kid who is looking to be a hero. She’s worried he won’t make it otherwise.
