Carmen Estrella’s love of planes and the miracle of human flight lead her to pursue a career in aeronautics. She would even dream of flying. That dream has become a reality and her life has become much more complicated.
Shortly after gaining the fantastic ability to control gravity, Carmen realized that she had a golden opportunity to really make an impact in other people’s lives. Flying was her dream and her passion, but being able to fly as Dark Star enabled her to protect the dreams and passions of other people.
In time she would learn that her power came at a cost. It attracted the attention of beings from other worlds. She stays busy balancing her old life and the new role she inhabits while dealing with the threats that have come into her orbit.
