Evildoers beware, or you’ll be taken out and dragged in to the light of justice by Amp!
I didn’t plan on making this a cat man, when I started, but it occurred to me partway through and I just went with it. This drawing gave me some second thoughts about another character design I made a while back and I might just change it to be more like this. This definitely feels flashy to me, even thought it is a fairly straight-forward design. The energy and pose feel dramatic to me, the whiskers add a bit of flair too, I think.
Keep coming back as I tackle the rest of the prompts throughout September. I am determined to make it every day this year!
Looking over all these prompts has my wheels spinning and I really want to make a little toku-inspired project for kids. I am thinking something about health. Maybe three little adventures in a single book with a team composed of an homage to Sentai, Rider and Ultra. I don’t really draw cute, so I would love to chat with a more versatile illustrator who would be interested in working together.
