This concept for “Speedy,” my Golden Age Comic Book-style Speedster with a snake motif took just over 10 minutes to draw. You can see in the other sketches how I have developed her design. It started as a body glove type thing with an almost vintage diving helmet look to it with a glass disk over her eyes for her to see. I want to emphasize the serpent aspect of her design and make it other worldly. I may take another run at it.
