Ultraman Arc Episode 8: “Internet Kagon” – Digital Battles and Voice Actor Discoveries

Hey there, Ultra fans! MJ here, diving into the quirky world of Ultraman Arc Episode 8, “Internet Kagon.” This episode takes a comedic turn, bringing us into the digital realm. Let’s break it down!

Episode Highlights

  • Arc goes digital to battle an internet Kagon
  • Visual similarities to “Summer Wars” and Digimon’s “Our War Game”
  • Silly but fun moments, like Arc “cooking” a giant data pill

Voice Actor Deep Dive

While the episode itself was light on plot, it led me down an interesting path of voice actor research:

  1. Britney Lauda: Voice of Kagon in both Arc and Ultraman Z
  2. Tony Oliver: Voice of Hoshi Ban, with an extensive Power Rangers history
  3. Danny Chambers: Voice of Ren, also in SSSS.Gridman
  4. Micah Solusod: Voice of Shu Ishido, previously in Ultraman Z
  5. Paul Castro Jr.: Voice of Yuma, also in Persona 3 Reload

Final Thoughts

While “Internet Kagon” might not be the most plot-heavy episode, its lighthearted approach and the subsequent voice actor discoveries made for an interesting experience.

What did you think of this digital detour? Who’s your favorite voice actor in the English dub so far? Let me know in the comments!
