SYNOPSIS
Shinichi Saruhara, who spends most of his time at his own pace is whimsically writing haiku. One day, he picks up his smartphone and transforms into Saru Brother and just accepted his destiny like a cloud that changes shape every day.
Meanwhile, Taro Momoi/Don Momotaro delivered a parcel to Haruka Kito/Oni Sister’s house and was mistakenly arrested by Detective Yuriko Kito, Haruka’s aunt. Recently, thieves who pretend to be courier company employees work steal only lighting have appeared. Haruka didn’t think that Taro is “Taro Momoi”, so she decided to accompany Taro’s delivery in search of Taro Momoi.
NEGATIVE
-Mistaken Identity to the Nth degree
POSITIVE
-Tarou has a strong hint of personality and characterization. Him becoming incensed at the Black Bear Bandit and his confrontation with him and the White Knight lady, related to him show some texture to his character
-That Haruka take the wheel moment was great. I know see the utility of the Little Peach
DIRECTION
-Momotaro VS White Knight was cool
WRITING
-Was there some other way for Haruka to have gotten close to Tarou, other than going on his route?
REFLECTIONS
-Tarou tells Haruka “I don’t hit people” after he flicks nuts at some toughs attacking her.
-Later on he fiercely attacks the White Knight Lady
-After she is gone he attacks the rest of the Donbrothers, but it feels somewhere between his attacks on most foes and lively sparring. It is hard to read.
Keeping those factors in mind, could these be hints that the Donbrothers are not, or are no longer human? What are the implications of that? What is their true identity?
GENERAL NOTES
-Momotaro Slash is fun, I like that Saru got a crank added for him, too
-Why did Momotaro kick Oni at the end?
-It was interesting that Saru picked up that phone that someone dropped in his path. Who dropped it?

Avataro Sentai Donbrothers is a Japanese television series. It is the 46th in Toei’s Super Sentai series. Its Momotarō-themed Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The show succeeded Kamen Rider Revice line-up Super Hero Time to Avataro Sentai Donbrothers in premiered March 6, 2022, on TV Asahi.

The series theme is based on the legend of Momotarō and Virtual Reality. Because of this, many of the show’s graphics are styled to resemble traditional Japanese watercolor brush paintings, and the series makes more extensive uses of CGI than past productions.
