SYNOPSIS
Haruka Kito, who finally found out who Taro Momoi is, visits the courier shop he is working to ask what is he thinking. Later, Taro decided to have a part-time job at the consulting company where Tsuyoshi Kijino/Kiji Brother works. The two team up to help an onigiri specialty store that continues to be in the red. The onigiri that the owner makes is not good, and the staff are not motivated. Taro decides to give the staff specialty training.
NEGATIVE
-Padding
POSITIVE
-Inuzaka is cool. I want his backstory.
-Tsuyoshi + Miho
-No Mech fight
-Kiji Brother looked better this time
REFLECTIONS
-Tsuyoshi and Tarou have such diffeent approached to helping people, and probably to life in general. Tarou is bold, direct and self-assured. Tsuyoshi is timid, cautious and unsure of himself. Tarou is god-like and Tsuyoshi is frail man. Tsuyoshi pushes back against how Tarou handles the Rolling Onigiri employees by saying that Tarou should placate and encourage them, even if it isn’t true. Tarou refuses to lie, not understanding why anyone would because after all, “Spoken words are the voice of the heart.” I wonder if that is a Japanese concept? I know it is Biblical, Messiah says it in Luke 6:45. Anyway, is the heart as simple as it is being presented right now? Are all hearts the same? Can a heart be conflicted? Let’s look at the case of 3 hearts presented in this episode: Tsuyoshi, Mizuno and Tarou.
-With all that being siad, what makes one heart better than another?
DIRECTION
-Things were a little more subdued this time, maybe that was just because of the lack of mech fight
-The Lupin Ranger stuff was so cool to see again
-The Goldish Knight jumping down from the roof with that fisheye was neat
-The use of the doors is very creative so far. Momotaro using the door to move Monster Mizuno out of the way to save him from Goldy was slick and a lot of fun
WRITING
-The plan between Haruka and Saru could have been bad, but it was a cute moment between them and sort of paid off well at the end when they attacked Don Momotaro
GENERAL NOTES
-Jin is Peach Dad. I like how he just kicked Haurka out after he was done giving her exposition.
-Tsuyoshi Kijino and Miho are adorable. I love them as sweet newlyweds
-Tarou is basically a Gary Stu. He is perfect and can’t really change, or at least he hasn’t needed to
-Tarou’s perfection made him an outcast as a kid and even today. His brutal honesty pusehes people away
-Haruka and Saru meet by chance saving a mom and kid. They talk about Tarou and determine they might have to beat him, as perhaps he is trying to make them seasoned fighters
-Tarou makes the perfect Onigiri which drives Mizuno crazy. He is overcome by the greed monster and turns into a pyramid guy from Lupinranger, I guess
-The 3 Ultra Knights observe that the Donbrother’s weapons are useless at killing the monster possessed people, which is their goal: to destroy those humans consumed by greed. They are called “Hitotsuki” and I don’t know if they are the Mooks and the Monsters, or just one or the other
-Jin seemingly has control over the doors of the Avatar World despite being imprisoned there. Haruka pleads for an audience with him and then a door moves towards her. Later he throws her out when she asks too many questions
-“He tried too hard”
-“That’s not the right way”
-“Someone who’s served Others”
-“Spoken Words are the voice of the heart”
