Saette with Rain when they were together. Plus cool shots of his Minaret Gundam
Rain in the rain
There was a lot of framing people through things in this episode.
This shot of Domon alone is just neat.
The stairs represent the gulf between Rain and Domon. She is distant from him in mentality, in how she connects to people, and in other ways. Look far apart they are when she runs over to help Saette.
I think the framing of Saette attacking Rain in the window is set up for the similar sort of tension and hurt being experienced between Domon and Rain as glimpsed through that same window.
Finally Rain and Domon are together. The distance between them has closed as they have again centered themselves on their mission. There is a codependency at work. They must work together, they need each other. Besides that, Domon has shown that he wants Rain to be by his side.
Rain is tied to Saette personally, but she is tied to Domon as well. She still holds herself accountable as a doctor to try to save him. Solid characterization. Great drama.
