SYNOPSIS
Tsuyoshi Kijino cannot forgive the person who injured his beloved wife, Miho. Because of this, a new Hitotsuki emerges, shouting “Traffic safety!” as he obliterate cars and motorcycles, as well as people. Haruka Kito and the rest of the team fight without Taro Momoi, and Jiro Momotani appears again. Jiro says that he will lead the four of them to fight as leader in place of Taro.
NEGATIVE
-What is happening to the people and cars Tsuyoshi attacks? Are they dying? I don’t like that that isn’t addressed.
POSITIVE
-I like that Jirou considered executing Saruhara and Haruka.
-Haruka going lame and Saruhara losing his muse was cool. I like the Kibi-Point consequences, short-lived as they were.
DIRECTION
-Junk yard fight. Nuff siad.
-Cube dimension was cool
-Saruhara’s reflection in the pool was good
WRITING
– Does the Noto/Cerebran Knights attacks on people indefinitely putting them in an alternate dimension coma make them less evil? Does it make the Donbrothers less virtuous for healing them? Does it redeem Tsuyoshi for trying to kill the artist who kidnapped Miho? Does it open up the Cerebrans to be heroes as well?
GENERAL NOTES
-Inuzaka is still very much on the outside of the team. Why is that? Will that change now that Tsuyoshi is better?
-This is such an offbeat show. I like Jirou’s criticisms of the team. They are valid.
-This show feels so anime at times. Part of me feels like Haruka falling on Tarou is wierd and off putting and part of me finds it sweet and innocent. I also wonder if there could be a biddig romance between Haruka and Tarou, but maybe he’ll just be her big brother. That would be cool, too. She is his Oni Sister afterall.
REFLECTIONS
-What does it mean to be a hero?

Episode 15: 7/10
The junk yard fight was brilliant. I enjoyed all the character and team stuff with Saruhara and Haruka. We got some cool insights into the background of the show, but there are still lots of unanswered questions. That’s good for intrigue and I feel good about where the story is going from here.

Avataro Sentai Donbrothers is a Japanese television series. It is the 46th in Toei’s Super Sentai series. Its Momotarō-themed Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The show succeeded Kamen Rider Revice line-up Super Hero Time to Avataro Sentai Donbrothers in premiered March 6, 2022, on TV Asahi.

The series theme is based on the legend of Momotarō and Virtual Reality. Because of this, many of the show’s graphics are styled to resemble traditional Japanese watercolor brush paintings, and the series makes more extensive uses of CGI than past productions.
