SYNOPSIS
The other Donbrothers are not happy that Jiro is now officially part of the team. Jiro, who is not satisfied that he is just a mere companion, tells Taro about it and challenges him that if Jiro is able to hit him once, Taro will acknowledge him as his equal. The others heard about this and decided to participate. Meanwhile, Don Murasame is awakened by the voice of a mysterious Mother and appears in front of the Donbrothers.
NEGATIVE
-Is Tarou really dumb enough to believe Mr. Gil is still alive?
POSITIVE
-All the gags were really fun and I liked seeing the characterization at play, especially at the end
DIRECTION
-They used the “trick camera” for when the team was going to hit a distracted Tarou. That was fun, but that camera definitely works best in motion.
WRITING
-Are we just accepting that all Cerebrans are good now? I guess the other 2 mostly just give people bad vibes, while Sonoi actively helps people?
-Also, Muramase comes from Ideon and Sonoi seems to know a bit of what is going on, so Cerebrans likely are not all good, just like people.
Mind blown.

-Do episodes like this help save on the budget?
-How long until Tsubasa is officially part of the team?
-How could Sononi take Tsubasa to Natsumi? What would that have meant for Tsuyoshi and Miho?

I was thoroughly entertained. This episode bordered on filler, but it was so fun to watch and it sprinkled so much new stuff in that I am eager for more good Donbrothers!

Avataro Sentai Donbrothers is a Japanese television series. It is the 46th in Toei’s Super Sentai series. Its Momotarō-themed Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The show succeeded Kamen Rider Revice line-up Super Hero Time to Avataro Sentai Donbrothers in premiered March 6, 2022, on TV Asahi.

The series theme is based on the legend of Momotarō and Virtual Reality. Because of this, many of the show’s graphics are styled to resemble traditional Japanese watercolor brush paintings, and the series makes more extensive uses of CGI than past productions.
