Following Shinjiro’s heroic deeds reminded me so much of Iron Man that it felt like it was intentional on the part of the original manga author. The manga this is based on released 2011, Iron Man came out in 2008. That thought got me wondering if there is a link between Iron Man and Ultraman. Is Iron Man’s design influenced by Ultraman? I thought I had heard that, but I don’t know, so I figured I would look into it and share my findings. But not today. I will look into this and report back tomorrow.
