SYNOPSIS
Taro delivers a package to Tomoko, a woman who mistakes him for her own son. According to Shinichi, Tomoko has lost all her energy because her son ran away from home and hasn’t returned. Shinichi asks Taro to cheer up Tomoko by pretending to be her son, but Taro is incapable of telling lies. Shinichi then comes up with a plan.
NEGATIVE
-Who was this episode really about? Why not focus on this weird double Jirou thing as opposed to having it in the background?
WORST -The issues with Tomoko and Kouchirou are never really dealt with in any way that matters. He goes back, but not on his own terms and we don’t know if she will change her approach to her son. I think both need to shift and grow, but the burden is really on her as the parent and I don’t think the way that all gets papered over here is good. It was great that she recognized Kouichirou as a Hitsosuki. It was interesting that she let him be after he had been saved. Not doing anything concrete with those elements feels wasteful and a bit lazy. All we needed was one sentence from Tomoko when she welcomed Kouichirou back about how he can do something else, that she will not force him to be a pianist.
POSITIVE
-Haruka killing Tarou with her wife play was funny. How many times has he kicked or thrown her? Maybe she’ll get to kill him with a lie a few more times to even them out.
-Haruka’s faces are classic. It’s hilarious that she has internal monologue that completely matches silent facial expressions.
Best -That Hitsosuki was really cool. The visuals were slick and I appreciate him attacking a little kid, that actually made me more invested than him taking down 3 adults just moments before. I kinda liked it being random and just coming in stating its motivation without us needing to see the lead up to the guy breaking.

Episode 24: 6/10
It was a decent episode. It made sense. I laughed. I cried. I hurled. It had some issues with clarity and it kind of felt like some ideas just slapped together, but it was entertaining over all. I didn’t dislike it. I hope we get to see Toradragonjin in a different AR World. That threw me off and they reused too much footage for his fight.

Avataro Sentai Donbrothers is a Japanese television series. It is the 46th in Toei’s Super Sentai series. Its Momotarō-themed Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The show succeeded Kamen Rider Revice line-up Super Hero Time to Avataro Sentai Donbrothers in premiered March 6, 2022, on TV Asahi.
The series theme is based on the legend of Momotarō and Virtual Reality. Because of this, many of the show’s graphics are styled to resemble traditional Japanese watercolor brush paintings, and the series makes more extensive uses of CGI than past productions.
