Slept: 6.5 hours
Waking Status: I got going more quickly. After my workout I had a little bit of last night’s leftover coffee that I stuck in the fridge that was fun to sip on my drive to work.
Today’s workout
23 minutes start to finish.
I felt sore from yesterday, even while working out. That made things a little harder, but I’m ok with that. Doing the 100 Air Squats was easy, but time consuming. It took me a while to settle into a really good form for them; I had to keep adjusting my stance to feel good about it.
Doing the set of abdominal holds (plank, side planks: left and right and the 6″ hold) was tough. I thought I would falter. Thankfully I didn’t
Food Log
Breakfast Bake. I had a larger portion today. By the way that extra bit I had last night because I was still hungry is the same size as the little piece pictured below. I am trying to do better portion control, so that (pictured below) is the most breakfast bake I will have at a time
Red Cabbage Salad with Kielbasa. I had the salad over 3 servings throughout the day.
I was lucky enough to snag some In-N-Out Burger! No fires or soda (I don’t drink soda anyway) just a Double-Double protein style. I made sure to get it without the buns, but I forgot to ask for a Double Meat, which is what I usually get there. I eat enough cheese in my other meals and the burger real is delicious even without the cheese, so why get it?

Lastly, we had to eat out. Legends is a local greasy spoon/50’s nostalgia diner which makes AMAZING chili cheese fries (my favorite, the gyros are fabulous too) and a great big avocado salad. The rest of the family enjoyed chili cheese fries, while I ate most of the big salad. It’s too big for one person to eat in one go, but it is full of all good stuff: tomatoes, red onions, hard boiled eggs, lots of sliced avocado. It is so good. Anyway, I think I finished that around 7:00PM and didn’t eat for the rest of the night.
My wife and I DID also split a large (plain) latte, so that was nice. That plus the sips I had in the morning were all the coffee I had. I am doing better with that too.
